Roger Ebert (1942 - 2013)

Today we lost a legend. Roger Ebert passed away at the age of 70. He was a revered film critic whose work inspired countless others to share their opinions on movies and take a critical look at an art form that meant so much to him. His passing means a profound loss on countless levels. There will forever be a missing piece where his intelligent and enlightening movie reviews were.

I’ve read his reviews since, I was kid and they always provided guidance to great films and helped lower the expectations for others. There is so much more that I want to express about how much this incredible man meant; the thing is the man that knew how to craft words so well has now left me without them. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
