“Big Little Lies” is HBO’s latest all-star miniseries. The drama centers on three Monterey mothers, Madeline (Reese Witherspoon), Celeste (Nicole Kidman), and Jane (Shailene Woodley). When one of the women’s sons is accused of choking, one of his female classmates during their first-grade orientation, a feud between the trio, and the girl’s mother begins.
